Benjamin Cornelius-Bates, Organ Recital

Hymn improvisation and a balanced selection of pieces by classic and modern composers will be part of a winter recital performed at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church on the Casavant Frères pipe organ. Friends of Music at Holy Trinity concert series presents Benjamin Cornelius-Bates, of Pittsburgh for a pipe organ recital for the third concert of the seventeenth season of Friends of Music.

GSO celebrates the Shenango Valley Chorale's 40th Anniversary with Choral Blockbusters, A Rising Star and a World Premiere! Performances to include: Borodin's Polevtsian Dances, Beethoven & Broadway's "Les Miserables". Two Rising Stars Macy McBeth & Stephanie Witzorreck will sing and GSO performs a special newly composed piece for the SVC by Daniel Perttu, Asst. Professor fo Music @ Westminster College.
