Friday, July 31st is the 65th Annual Greenville Business and Industry Day. This event has been recognized by several national golf publications as the longest continually run community golf tournament in the country. This is a tribute to the founder's foresight and to the tireless dedication of the volunteers who came after them. This year we hope to continue to provide an excellent and entertaining event. Players will also have the opportunity to win great prizes throughout the day. A cash bar will be available all day, as well as beverage carts on the course.

Norman Mortensen, Luther Kuder, Jesse Dart and Sy Moss founded this event in 1950 to spotlight area business and industry.  Although these founding fathers are no longer with us, the traditions they envisioned continue to live.

This year's B & I Day is again co-sponsored by the Greenville Area Chamber of Commerce and the Greenville Area Economic Development Corporation.  This is a fundraiser for both of these organizations and all proceeds will be used to promote our area for business development.

Over the years , this event has featured such notable golfers as Arnold Palmer, Gary Player, and Curtis Strange to mention a few.
