The Greenville Area School District is a public education facility located in the Greenville Boro and Hempfield Township.

Nonprofit organization operating 10 different programs working with at-risk youth.

St. Michael's is a non-profit catholic school and church. We are open to all faiths and tuition is the same for Catholics and non-Catholics. We have a newly renovated building housing Pre-K through 8th Grade. Call the school to arrange for a tour or for information.


Higher Education

Thiel College, established in 1866, is an independent coeducational liberal arts college affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.

Educational Services

American Scholar is a full-service education consulting organization dedicated to facilitating study-in-America opportunities and cross-cultural experiences. Based in Western Pennsylvania and Eastern Ohio, ASG’s programs serve American and international students, teachers, and administrators.

Athena Study Abroad offers study opportunities in 21 cities across 12 different countries to college students and recently graduated high school students. They assist students every step of the way - from application to course registration and housing, they will be there! They even help students work with students' home institution to transfer credits earned abroad to their degree and apply available financial aid to their study abroad program. Athena strives to make the work a better place by giving college students the opportunity to learn from other cultures through taking courses overseas during summer, semester, and January terms.

The library provides free library service to the residents of Greenville Borough, Hempfield and Sugar Grove Townships with print, video and audio collections and internet access. Membership for residents of other areas is $25 per year.
