Community Counseling Center Annual Dinner

Community Counseling Center has been providing comprehensive community-based behavioral health and substance abuse services to children and adolescents, young and middle aged adults, and geriatric service participants since 1957.

Sponsorship opportunities are available and in part help cover the costs of providing an educational program including a speaker at our community education/outreach program events. In recognition of National Mental Health Month which begins May 1, we have engaged Michaila Rae DeVore as our guest speaker. Michaila is a bullying survivor and will share her personal message of strength, self-love, and hope in her keynote address entitled “Powerless to Powerful."

Ms. DeVore is a senior at Saegertown High School and was a competitor in Miss America’s Outstanding Teen Program for three years winning three local titles and then progressing to the Miss Pennsylvania Outstanding Teen Pageants. She will also conduct the afternoon Educational Workshop on May 17 from 2:00pm – 3:30pm for stakeholders including service participants, staff, and family members. This afternoon educational workshop is being presented free of charge to attendees, as we want as many service participants and family members to attend as possible.
