People from all over Pennsylvania, Maryland, DC, Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, Oklahoma, and event New Mexico made their way to viewing parties across Norther Mercer County. We hope everyone had a great Eclipse experience! We were happy to showcase our wonderful community to so many visitors!

Party In The Path was out of this world!
We had visitors from states as far away as California, Colorado and Florida, and as close as our neighbors in Ohio, Virginia and New York. In addition, we had visitors all the way from Canada and Japan (yes - Japan), joining us just for the eclipse. Our loyal locals embraced the influx of people, making new friends along the way. Over 400 cars filled the field adjacent to the winery, with approximately 1200 participants.
Families played lawn games while they awaited the climactic moment, and enjoyed food, wine and beer from Gatehouse Winery and Mortals Key. We started the day at 10:00 am with breakfast pizza, and introduced walking charcuterie boxes, paninis and a cuppa-soup for the occasion. We ended up selling out of pizza and t-shirts, and had a record day overall!
The BLACK OUT HUNGER Food Drive brought in over 327 non-perishable food items filling over 14 boxes and 3 bags. We also received monetary donations for this Campaign. The food and money will be donated to the Good Shepherd Center in Greenville. All who donated received a free pair of viewing glasses, sure to not miss the magic in the sky. Thank you to Visit Mercer County PA for donating the glasses.

"Off the beaten path hidden gem. We rented here as a base from which to go find a good eclipse viewing site in Western, PA. Turned out that with the well-maintained open picnic areas, clear sky view, and nice walking trails behind the property, it was a perfect spot... With lots of parks and natural areas, hiking, biking, flat-water kayaking possibilities nearby, we plan to return!"
