The Good Shepherd Center is an ecumenical ministry formed in 1991 to meet the needs of those economically disadvantaged in the greater Greenville area.

The Community Food Warehouse is a food bank for Mercer County that supplies county-wide emergency food pantries and after school programs with food products to be distributed to those in need.

The Fraternal Order of Eagles is an international, non-profit organization that unites fraternally in the spirit of liberty, truth and justice.

Greenville Elks has been a Greenville icon for many years. It has many members that do service projects for our area, as well as host many events in its banquet facilities.

The objective of the Rotary Club is to encourage and foster the idea of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and, in particular, to encourage and foster the idea of service in each Rotarian's personal, business and community life.

Founded by John R. Loutzenhiser in 1930 at 340 Main Street. John's son, Jack G., followed in his father's footsteps and became a licensed funeral director in 1964. In 1977, the younger Loutzenhiser and Arthur Jordan formed a partnership and built a new funeral facility located at 366-368 S. Main St. The funeral home today, Loutzenhiser-Jordan Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., continues to grow under the direction of Jack's son, third generation funeral director and president, Cris H. Loutzenhiser.
