GREENVILLE HALLOWEEN 2026 PARADE

The following is our proposed parade route:
- Participants will…Participants will…start from Riverside Park then travel up Race Street to Water Street entrance; turn left onto Main Street and proceed to Louisa Avenue where the parade ends. (Except for the band, no units are to turn onto Penn Avenue.) Line-up anytime between 12 - 1:45 pm.
- Traffic along the parade route will be affected beginning at 1:00 pm in October.

Scarecrows in the Park 2026
Monday, October 12th - Saturday, October 31st
$15 Entry Fee (cash prizes will be awarded to 1st and 2nd place)
NEW this year, businesses along Main Street my enter the contest and securely place a scarecrow to the front of their store front. All other contest entries will be placed in Central Park. Judging: Voting will take place on the chamber website.
Requirements :
Clothing must be secured
2’ x 2’ name marker
Set-up no earlier than Friday, October 9th, but must be up by noon on Monday, October 12th.
Take down no earlier than Sunday, November 1st, but must be down by Tuesday, November 3rd.
Please register your scarecrow by Friday, October 9th, 2026.

Scarecrows in the Park is a contest for businesses, organizations, groups, and community members. Scarecrows will be judged by the public and a 1st place and 2nd place winner will be chosen. Winners will receive a cash prize.
