More Than Emergency Response: Education & Outreach at EmergyCare

EmergyCare provides more than ambulance services! Through its Education & Outreach programs, EmergyCare helps individuals and communities build the knowledge and skills needed to respond confidently in an emergency.

EmergyCare Training Institute
Emergencies can happen anytime, anywhere. The EmergyCare Training Institute offers a variety of educational programs designed to prepare the public to respond when it matters most. Participants learn how to handle emergency situations and provide assistance until emergency medical personnel arrive.

EMT Student Academy
Interested in a career in emergency medical services? EmergyCare offers a paid, nine-week EMT Academy featuring classroom instruction, hands-on skills training, and real-world exposure to the EMT profession.

CPR & Safety Courses
EmergyCare also offers a variety of training courses to help individuals develop lifesaving skills, including:

American Heart Association Basic Life Support
Heartsaver CPR with AED
Heartsaver First Aid
Child and Babysitting Safety Course

Whether you're looking to learn lifesaving skills, strengthen your emergency preparedness, or explore a career in emergency medical services, EmergyCare has educational opportunities to help you get started.

The Greenville Halloween Parade is a favorite fall tradition and a great opportunity for businesses, organizations, families, and community groups to show off their creativity and celebrate Halloween together. Whether you’re planning a spooky float, decorating a vehicle, walking with your group, or simply bringing some Halloween spirit, we want you to be part of the parade!

Scarecrows in the Park & on Main

The Scarecrows are out and ready for your vote! This year we had a total of 11 entries. Scarecrows can be found at Central Park and along Main Street. Make sure to cast your vote for your favorite! Cash prizes will be given to the top two Scarecrows.
