The Greenville Alliance family is a community of faith made up of many people: families, singles, married couples, newcomers and "old-timers", people young and old, all of them seeking to become all that God created and empowers them to be.

In 1978, Greenville community members came together with the desire to put on a show. At the at time, several, if not all, were members of St. Jude's Episcopal Church. The pastor’s wife offered to direct the show, “Guys & Dolls,” which was staged at the Greenville High School auditorium, complete with a pit band. No cast members were paid; to this day, it’s unknown how the show was paid for.

The Greenville Area Economic Development Corporation is a private non-profit local corporation established to promote the economic well being of the Greenville area and its citizens.

The Library provides free library service to the residents of Greenville Borough, Hempfield & Sugar Grove Townships with the print, video and audio collections and internet access. Membership for residents of other areas is $15 per year.

The Greenville Area School District is a public education facility located in the Greenville Borough and Hempfield Township. The District earned the National Blue Ribbon School designation for academic achievements from 2013 to 2017 from the U.S. Department of Education.

GASA’s mission is to promote soccer as a sport, properly organize soccer teams, provide training, and perpetuate the game of soccer by encouraging the values sportsmanship, courtesy, conduct, and respect. These values of the mission in addition to the goals to develop physical fitness, promote health, and mental alertness in youth lay groundwork in our players that GASA believes leads to the kinds of future citizens that become productive, engaged, and supportive members communities as adults.

The youth of Northern Mercer County are the beneficiaries of the work the Greenville Area Soccer Association (GASA). Youth ranging in ages 5 to 20 participate in both recreational and travel programs sponsored by GASA. Currently GASA operates a spring and fall playing season. Youth participate represent communities of Northern Mercer County as our current membership reflects players who live in the Greenville, Reynolds, Jamestown, and Commodore Perry school districts.
